Can I have multiple workspaces?
Organize your projects into folders
You can create as many folders as you like to organize your projects.
Open the Explorer Panel in Altium Designer.
Locate and right-click the desired folder, then select Add Top Level Folder or Add Subfolder.
You can select Components, Generic Folder, or Other Folder Type. If you choose Other Folder Type, you can select the type in the new window.
After creating your folder, simply drag an entry from the main Projects folder into your new folder.
Once you move something out of the Projects folder, it will not be visible in the Projects window in your Altium 365 Workspace web interface. Anyone with access to the project can still navigate to the project in the Explorer panel and open the project in the new folder.
To share the folder, open the Explorer panel in Altium Designer.
Locate and right-click the desired folder, then select Properties > Share. You can also Add User, Add Role, or Add Anyone.
Tip: When connected to an Altium 365 Workspace, the ability to define roles is not available with the Standard Subscription Plan. Therefore, sharing with specific users and roles will not be available with this level of access to Altium 365. Visit Controlling Access to Workspace Content for more information.
