Managing Components with ActiveBOM

You can continue working on your project or download from Workspace.

Manage components, understand what you can buy and what you can not in today’s reality is very important. Altium Designer allows you to do this easily.

Create a new ActiveBOM document in the same way as the schematic document.

You will see the list of all components in your project.

However, this is not just the list. For example, you can see the suppliers of a particular component, its cost and availability in stock. Highlight a component and the information appears at the bottom of the document.

The tool will automatically indicate the components with which there may be problems. The designation occurs with the help of simple and understandable symbols and . You can also assign an alternative solution to each component. You can learn more about ActiveBOM here.

Do not forget to save the new document and project.
